Nowadays, one of the most important part of maintaining and being sucessful on social media profiles is to have high quality visual content. In other words content is the KING. Usually, advanced graphic programs like Photoshop are used to create high quality visual content. But it does not have to be that difficult, you can easily create content for social media channels through dedicated applications. If you have a problem with visual content in your social media, this post is definitely for you.
1. Canva (iOS/Android, free)
The most popular application for creating visual content is
Canva. Not only it has all the formats required for social media, you can also just
as easy create an effective looking CVs or leaflets, posters etc. Canva is the
best choice if we want to enrich Instagram publications with aesthetic-looking
fonts or design a quick collage. Another big advantage of Canva is the fact,
that it can be used on both a mobile device and a computer, when using the same
account, the devices synchronize with each other.
2. Adobe Spark Post
(iOS/Android, free)
Adobe Spark Post is an Adobe proposal in the segment of
applications that facilitate publications in social media. We can choose from
many available formats, adapting the graphics to Snapchat or Facebook. The
application is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud package, but we can use it without
an active subscription. In this case, however, you will see a watermark on
every graphic generated by the application.
3. Over (iOS/Android,
free)
Similarly, to the first two applications, Over works. App
gives us access to a number of templates that are grouped thematically. Each of
them can be freely adapted to your needs. Over allows you to design posts on
probably all social media, and even design a profile picture. Another
interesting feature of the application is inviting friends to jointly edit specific
projects.
4. PicsArt (iOS/Android,
free)
The application allows you to edit photos, collage, and
draw. There are also ready-made templates that can be used, and for more
advanced users PicsArt allows you to work on layers, like in Photoshop. The
application has the ambition to become a social network, so you need a
dedicated account to use it. PicsArt is available for free on the AppStore and
Google Play.
SquareFit is an application dedicated to photo processing, versus
the two previously described application and as such it has quite a limited
functionality. And yes, we can crop the photo in a format suitable for social
media, add a frame, sticker or emoji to it. SquareFit is available in Apple Store
and Google store for free, however when using it we will have to watch ads.
As you can see, Google and Apple application stores allow
users to choose ideas that help create posts for social media. Do you identify
any of these applications? Or maybe you use other applications that I haven't
mentioned here? I am waiting for your messages. Best regards.
