TOP 5 Applications for creating content on social media!




Nowadays, one of the most important part of maintaining and being sucessful on social media profiles is to have high quality visual content. In other words content is the KING. Usually, advanced graphic programs like Photoshop are used to create high quality visual content. But it does not have to be that difficult, you can easily create content for social media channels through dedicated applications. If you have a problem with visual content in your social media, this post is definitely for you.



1. Canva (iOS/Android, free)




The most popular application for creating visual content is Canva. Not only it has all the formats required for social media, you can also just as easy create an effective looking CVs or leaflets, posters etc. Canva is the best choice if we want to enrich Instagram publications with aesthetic-looking fonts or design a quick collage. Another big advantage of Canva is the fact, that it can be used on both a mobile device and a computer, when using the same account, the devices synchronize with each other.



2. Adobe Spark Post (iOS/Android, free) 


Adobe Spark Post is an Adobe proposal in the segment of applications that facilitate publications in social media. We can choose from many available formats, adapting the graphics to Snapchat or Facebook. The application is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud package, but we can use it without an active subscription. In this case, however, you will see a watermark on every graphic generated by the application.

3. Over (iOS/Android, free) 



Similarly, to the first two applications, Over works. App gives us access to a number of templates that are grouped thematically. Each of them can be freely adapted to your needs. Over allows you to design posts on probably all social media, and even design a profile picture. Another interesting feature of the application is inviting friends to jointly edit specific projects.


4. PicsArt (iOS/Android, free) 


The application allows you to edit photos, collage, and draw. There are also ready-made templates that can be used, and for more advanced users PicsArt allows you to work on layers, like in Photoshop. The application has the ambition to become a social network, so you need a dedicated account to use it. PicsArt is available for free on the AppStore and Google Play.


5. SquareFit (iOS/Android, free) 




SquareFit is an application dedicated to photo processing, versus the two previously described application and as such it has quite a limited functionality. And yes, we can crop the photo in a format suitable for social media, add a frame, sticker or emoji to it. SquareFit is available in Apple Store and Google store for free, however when using it we will have to watch ads.
