Free tools for creating attractive graphics for posts on social media

Not everyone knows graphics programs, not everyone knows how to make a photo look better, not everyone is born with the ability to create eye pleasing content. However, we all like it when our work is praised for aesthetics - regardless of whether it is a blog post or content for social media. Fortunately, we live in a time, where you simply need to know a few online tools to change a boring looking blog into something attractive to the recipient.

I focused on tools available online. You do not need to download any of the applications below to your computer. They are mostly free or almost free (i.e. you have to pay for some advanced features or add-ons). I tried to choose things that everyone should focus on. Posts in social media containing graphics are more likely to be clicked and shared by recipients than posts without them. New programs are constantly appearing to help with graphics creation and sharing. You can also take care of Instagram using the described graphics creation tools. The tools offer ready templates for posts and stories. Combined with the most popular hashtags, the effect is guaranteed!

BeFunky

BeFunky is a graphics program that offers access from a browser. You can edit pictures, create collages, backgrounds on FB or choose a graphic template for posts on popular social networks. This tool is still relatively easy to use, although it has features such as cropping, red-eye removal, filters, blur and much more.

In addition, it allows you to download photos not only from the computer disk, but also, among others, from Facebook or Flickr. The premium account gives you access to more templates, but the free version is enough to create attractive graphics.

Adobe Spark
Adobe Spark is a relatively fresh proposition. It allows you to create graphics, simple pages presenting photos and content, and simple movies. We have here a lot of ready-made templates that we can customized to our needs. If you've used Canva before, you may feel a bit lost at Spark at first, because the creation scheme looks a bit different here, but if you survive this temporary discomfort, you'll definitely find it worth it.
Noteworthy is the possibility of creating simple pages and movies. The first option is a great solution when you want to create a relationship from a travel, portfolio or catalogue in the form of a simple "one page" type.

In turn, the video function allows you to create great movies, based on ready-made templates, to which we can add text, photos, icons and other videos. There is a large photo database available in all options.

Photovisi

Photovisi is a graphics tool that allows you to easily create collages from photos - you do not need to set up an account. You can easily add photos, choose their layout, enter text, shapes, change the background, etc. There are quite a lot of editing options. After completing your graphics, simply save it to disk or share via Facebook, Twitter or email. The premium package allows you to create graphics without a watermark. In addition, Photovisi allows you to create graphics based on photos on your Facebook or Instagram account.

Recite
Do you want to post a quote on Facebook or Instagram? Recite is a tool that works great for this. With Recite, you can put a quote on your profile in an interesting, visual form. The graphics program offers many ready-made templates.

After creating your artwork, you can download it or directly share it on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or share the graphic on Tumblr.

Social Image Resizer Tool
It's the perfect tool when you want to add a photo to your post, but you have no idea what size is right, and you don't want to bother. It helps in creating graphics for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube. Just upload a photo, select the platform and type of image that you are interested in. We will then receive a frame that will allow you to select the desired fragment of graphics.

Thanks to this tool you will quickly prepare a Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn background based on the image you choose. Simple and convenient!

Canva
Canva is the most popular graphic creation tool that combines many functions - you can create presentations and graphics of various sizes. There are many free templates there, in which each element is fully editable - you can easily change the background, texts or fonts, add photos and shapes.

Canva also offers the option of downloading the created artwork or sharing it directly on Facebook or Twitter. A premium account gives you access to more templates and paid items that you can use when creating graphics.

Piktochart
An application that allows you to create infographics, reports, banners and presentations. In the free version we can use a dozen or so ready infographics templates, in addition we have a lot of shapes, backgrounds and charts. We can use ready-made products or create our own infographic from scratch. The free version allows you to download a file in .png or .jpg format - in both cases it will contain the bottom bar with the Piktochart logo.

Pablo
Is a graphics creation tool created by Buffer that can be added as a browser extension. It is a simple but effective graphics editor where you can find many interesting solutions. Once you add your logo, it will be saved so that you can use it in subsequent graphics. An interesting feature is that in addition to traditional adding photos you can choose a picture directly from any website and it will load for further editing.

In addition, you can create graphics here in an ideal format for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest and share them directly on these platforms.

I hope that the post will be useful and at least a little easier for you to work on content. If you liked this topic, be sure to let me know and I will create more similar posts. And if you know any tools that I haven't mentioned here, let me know as soon as possible.

  9. I usually use Canva for my graphics. I do want to try Adobe Spark though as I've heard is so much simpler than Premiere, which I use at the moment.
